Elected leadership of the MLHCP during the 1st General Assembly of the Platform, held in Pemba (December 10–12, 2025)

The Assembly marked the formal establishment of the Platform as an independent humanitarian coordination mechanism led by local and national organizations, with elected governance for the period 2026–2029.

This milestone occurs in a context of growing humanitarian needs in Mozambique, reinforcing the role of local organizations in coordination, representation, and responsible humanitarian response.
